I have made chocolate cookies a thousand times, and all the recipes are fairly similar. But something about this one keeps the complaints rolling non stop!! They are that good! Thanks Shay!!
*1 cup butter(softened)
*3/4 cup sugar
*1 cup brown sugar
*2 eggs
*1 tsp vanilla
*3 cups flour
*3/4 tsp salt
*3/4 tsp baking soda
*1 bag chocolate chips
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In separate bowl sift together flour,salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture and beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. (until slightly browned). Makes about three dozen.

Hey Bonnie~ I just made these tonight. We have a favorite choc. chip recipe, but I wanted to try something new. We LOVE them. The only thing I did was leave a little flour out and put in oats (just because our family MUST have oats in all our choc. chip cookies). Thanks- delish!
You're right- they continue to bring on the compliments. I can't figure out what makes them so different from other recipes, but everyone dies when they eat one.
