Cheesy bacon, potato chowder


*1 lb bacon (crisped and cut)
*1 yellow onion diced
*1/4 cup butter
*6-8 large potatoes(cubed and peeled)
*1 bag grated cheese or more

Cook bacon and onions in butter until bacon is crisp. In large crock pot pour 3 hot cups of water, add potatoes, and onion and bacon. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low all day long, stir occasionally. When about ready add 1/2 cup of milk and a bag of grated cheese (or more) to chowder. Stir to mix up. Serve and enjoy!!

We so had this for dinner last night... it was soo soo soo good! Thanks for the yummy food! Oh and we also had german pancakes on Saturday with raspberries and whipped cream, it was super yummy! Thanks for the recipes... i was in a cooking slump... sick of the same ol same ol!
