My Sister Hanna gave me this recipe. Trust me you will want copies of this one. When you make it everyone asks for the recipe!!
*4-5 roma tomatoes
*1/4 cup fresh basil
*3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
*3 tbsp olive oil
*3 tbsp brown spicy mustard
*2 tbsp minced garlic
*1/2 tsp salt
*2-3 cucumbers (peeled, chopped, and cubed)
Mix all the above in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In another bowl mix
*1/2 cup mayo
*1/4 cup brown spicy mustard
*1 tbsp green onion (finely chopped)
*1 tsp minced garlic
*3/4 tsp oregano
Slice two loaves of French bread. Place on baking sheet. Broil for a few minutes in oven. Take out and turn the French bread over. Spread mayo mixture on each piece and return to oven to broil until edges are crispy. Take out of oven and top with fresh veggie mixture! Can be broiled on the grill or in the oven.
Yummy!!
