Vanishing oatmeal raisin cookies

O.k. So I know a lot of people loathe oatmeal raisin cookies, but give this recipe a try and you may just change your mind. They are so good!!

*1 cup margarine or butter (2 sticks)
*1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
*1/2 sugar
*2 eggs
*1 teaspoon vanilla
*1 1/2 cups flour
*1 tsp baking soda
*1 tsp cinnamon
*1/2 tsp salt
*3 cups oatmeal, (uncooked, quick or old fashioned)
*1 cup of raisins

Preheat oven to 350
In mixer, beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, and vanilla and beat well. add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Do not over cook. Cookies harden after they cool. (makes about 3 dozen)

These are so good trust me!!
