This is the best dough for pizza. I have tried a lot and thanks to Riv I will never have to switch around recipes again!
*3 tbsp sugar
*1 tbsp salt
*2 tbsp olive oil
*1 1/2 cups warm water
*4 cups bread flour
*2 tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
Stick it in your mixer and let it mix for 10-15 minutes. The dough should be really smooth and not sticky at all. Once mixed, roll it into a ball on the counter top. Place it in a non-stick plastic bowl (glass or metal) that has been sprayed with Pam and then spray the top of dough as well. Cover with plastic wrap and stick it in the fridge overnight (you can use the dough right away, but it is easier to work with if you refrigerate)
Pull it out of fridge an hour before you want to make pizza. Divide it into four equal parts. Let them warm up to room temp. When ready roll the dough out. Top with whatever you want. If you want to cook it in the oven set the oven at 450 and bake for ten minutes.
*tip* I bought a unglazed tile from home depot and put it straight on my bbq grill outside. It worked just like a pizza stone. The tricky part was getting them on. But it was fun and good!
